The scoring began in the top of the 3rd with David Alvarez recording an RBI single.

North Shore responded in the home half of the 3rd when Danny Flynn scored off two throwing errors on the base path to even the game. Danati Fronduto and Anderson French cleared the bases to make it 4-1 Navigators through the first third.

Hunter Kingsbury plated a runner in the bottom of the 4th with a fielder's choice to center field to extend the Navs' advantage to 5-1.

Elliot Miles scored on a passed ball in the top of the 5th. Alex Benevento notched an RBI groundout to bring around Matthew Minckler to cut the lead to two runs.

Miles scored his third run of the night off a Matthew Minckler RBI groundout to the right side. Cam Keaveney came in for reliever Jack Zimmerman, and David Alvarez skied his 14th RBI with a double to left field to tie the game in the 7th.

Maddix Simpson launched a two-run two-shot in the bottom of the frame to left field to give North Shore a 7-5 lead.

In a joint inning between Keaveney and Thomas Mahoney, North Shore stranded the bases loaded in the top of the 8th.

The Navigators tacked on an insurance run with a double from Kingsbury in the home half. Danati Fronduto drove home two more with a deep-driven single.
