North Adams scored the first run in the bottom of the 1st inning with a Bobby Stang RBI single. The Dayton product was 0-for-11 in his last three appearances.

Nick Mullen tallied his sixth double of the season in the following frame. Sam Bradley notched an RBI groundout to tie the contest. The inning ended with Vermont leaving the bases loaded.

A fielder's choice and throwing error off the bat of Tony Woodie allowed Nelphie Lopez to score. Parker Camelo followed it up with an RBI single in the next at-bat to give SteepleCats a 3-1 advantage.

Vermont tied the game in the 5th with back-to-back RBI from Alex Benevento and David Alvarez off North Adams reliever Liam Riordan. Benevento and Brayden Leonard also collected doubles in the inning.

Richie Kerstetter came in for Sam Formus with the bases loaded. Brayden Leonard scored Elliot Miles off a fielder's choice to give Vermont a 4-3 lead.
