Jantzen Witte Named NECBL Player of the Week
		Jantzen Witte SS/3B Vermont Mountaineers Texas Christian University Freshman Arlington, TX Once again there were many stellar performances making it very difficult to single out one player. Witte started 5 games getting 10 hits in 20 ABs with a double, 1 HR and 5 RBI. He walked 3 times and his OBP matched his batting average of .500 helping Vermont to a 5-0 week.

Congratulations to former Mountaineer, AJ Pollock on being selected in the MLB first round by the Arizona Diamondbacks. AJ was the 17th overall pick and a member of the 2007 Mountaineers championship team.
